Very very nice area, incredibly comfortable location, close to several restaurants for dinner and coffee shops, and central Virginia for a tour of the historical sites in Lexington. Good choice of food options within easy walking distance of the venue.

Incredibly comfortable location within walking distance of an air market. Set in a very very nice area very close to the nearby waterfront and the nature trails and restaurants, nightlife and the best running/walking/biking trail and Lynchburg or surrounding area. The rooms with a pullout sofa.

Had exceptional stay on vacation with service-minded staff and unbeatable location by avtive train tracks. The room was unique, moreover romantic with a large bathroom. I enjoyed award-winning restaurants around. Everything was simply excellent.

During our romantic escape, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms and the overall layout of the hotel were top-notch. Parking was a breeze as it was not only free but also conveniently located next to the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The spacious room and spotless bathroom with a great shower were delightful. And let's not forget about the bed - it was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had a restful night's sleep. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better experience and would definitely choose to stay here again.
The only downside to our stay was the lack of bell service for unloading and parking. We had to handle our bags ourselves, leaving them on the sidewalk while we parked our car upon arrival and departure.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with high ceilings and exceptional furnishings. The hotel is located in a beautiful area, in the historic district of the city. It is within walking distance of many bars and restaurants, making it convenient for exploring the local area. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with free parking available right next to the hotel. Everything was clean and well-maintained, including the spotless bathroom and comfortable bed.

Clean hotel, ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE staff, beautiful and excellent room. Large room with Craddock Terry “ red shoe ” cookies and faux wood burning stove, as for instance. Attached restaurant with wonderful cuisine. Fab overall experience.

We were pleasantly surprised by the unique charm of the Craddock Terry Hotel, a converted shoe factory. The shoe-themed details throughout the hotel, including breakfast delivered in a wooden shoe box, added to the overall experience. The staff members were all helpful, and the presence of little doggy "mascots" made it feel welcoming. The restaurant on the premises was outstanding, serving a delicious filet mignon, fried oysters, and seared ahi tuna. we highly recommend this quaint and charming hotel.
